In her role as Student Experience Coordinator, Nyah supports all facets of student life, from dances to student government to DEI work.

Nyah comes to us most recently from Mentis in Napa, California where she was a Senior Prevention Specialist providing wellness education and community outreach programming to teenagers. She was the lead of their “Teens Connect” program, and in her role she also guided social media and marketing efforts and planned outreach and community events. Previous to that role, Nyah worked as a Campus Supervisor for the Napa Valley Unified School District overseeing attendance data collection, implementing campus safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of all students, and also serving as an academic tutor.

Nyah brings a wealth of experience as it relates to meeting students where they are, while simultaneously scaffolding appropriate accountability measures to help them reach their goals and pursue their individual aspirations. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with students and creating programming that is fun, engaging, and ultimately will support our entire community as we strive to deepen the overall sense of belonging and connection at SA.
