Ben Miller

Benjamin Miller is a graduate of Oberlin College with a BA in economics. He has worked for 25 years in the investment industry, most recently for Underhill Investment Management, and previously for Millennium Management, and Season Capital Management. He began his career teaching sailing and windsurfing and starting a retail and mail-order sporting goods company on the east coast. Ben currently serves on the finance committee for the San Francisco Waldorf School and has previously served on the executive council for Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco.

Ben is an experienced French horn player, windsurfer, and snowboarder, and an amateur winemaker and gardener. He is married to Linda who is developing next-generation lithium ion batteries at Sila Nanotechnologies and inspiring the next generation of women in engineering and science. He has two daughters, Sophie, and Claudia '22. 
It is a pleasure and an honor to deepen my commitment to Sonoma Academy by joining the board of trustees. I look forward to collaborating with the SA community to further advance the school's inspiring mission.
