Tufts University, BS

Rose earned her BS in Human Factors and Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University’s School of Engineering, where she was also president of ATO (Tuft’s all-gender fraternity) and was a member of the varsity sailing team. She is an alum of the Thacher School; prior to joining us at SA, she was also Thacher’s Equestrian Instructor.
Rose is one of our inaugural Penn Fellows, joining us as a teacher in the STEM department. Sonoma Academy was recently accepted into the prestigious University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education (GSE) Independent School Teaching Residency (ISTR) program. This partnership between the Penn GSE and a consortium of the nation’s leading boarding and day schools allows aspiring, early-career teachers to earn their master’s degree in education while also completing a two-year fellowship at a highly regarded independent school. We are joining a select group of schools from across the country in the ISTR program — and only the second school west of the Mississippi River in the consortium.
