Dance Teacher and Dance Corps Coach

Tayla Nielsen is a professional Hip Hop dancer who has been dancing since the age of ten and is an accomplished competitive performer and Hip Hop teacher. She was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia until the age of 11 when she moved to Sonora, California. While competing, Tayla also choreographed group routines, and solos for students of all ages, learning styles, and experiences; ranging from beginner to advanced skill levels.

Tayla is an energetic people person who is successful at developing talent, versed in adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students varying needs and interests. She has worked with industry choreographers at intensives and workshops throughout California. As a dance teacher, she provides opportunities for each student to reach their fullest potential through artistic and creative expression, Tayla pushes student's abilities while continuously keeping a fun, entertaining and hardworking classroom vibe.
